In this lesson, students will learn about shopping by using vocabulary such as mall, grocery store, sales associate, customer, shopping cart, and shopping basket. They will practice the pronunciation of reduced “What are” in connected speech, understanding how it can sound like “wha-tare” in fast conversation. The lesson will also focus on separable two-word verbs, helping students learn how these verbs can be split in sentences. This lesson will enhance students’ speaking fluency and understanding of common shopping terms and grammar structures.
