In this lesson, students will explore places including the house and school. They will practice key sentence patterns like “Where do you go to sleep?”, “I go to the house.”, “Where do you go to learn?”, and “I go to the school.”. Additionally, students will learn to recognize sight words such as “came”, “ate”, “but”, and “do”. The grammar focus will introduce the affirmative and negative forms of the verb ‘to be’ (‘You are’ and ‘You are not’), guiding students to use them accurately. Phonics activities will emphasize identifying and pronouncing the ‘et’ sound (as in ‘e’ + ‘t’ = ‘et’). The lesson will also introduce one-digit subtraction and the use of the minus sign. This interactive lesson will improve the learner’s overall language development.
