
In this lesson, students will expand their vocabulary related to different types of food, including chicken, pork, beef, and seafood. They will practice key sentence patterns like “Where does pork come from?”, “Pork comes from pigs.”, “Where does beef come from?”, and “Beef comes from cows.”. The lesson will recognize and use sight words such as “both”, “because”, “five”, and “made” confidently, aiding in reading fluency. In the grammar segment, students will learn to transform singular nouns into their correct irregular plural forms. The phonics activities will be on identifying and pronouncing words with the long “oo” sound. Through engaging dialogue practice, students will reinforce their vocabulary by applying it in various contexts. This interactive lesson will build students’ vocabulary and improve their sentence structure, pronunciation, and fluency, enabling them to confidently discuss more about food.
