In this lesson, students will explore the playtime activities and equipment such as play, playground, and playhouse. They will practice the key sentence patterns “What does he like?”, “He likes to play.”, “What is it?”, and “It is a playground/playhouse.”. Additionally, students will learn to recognize sight words such as ‘yes,’ ‘want,’ ‘too,’ and ‘white.’ The grammar focus will introduce the affirmative and negative forms of the verb ‘to be’ (‘It is’ and ‘It is not’), guiding students to use them accurately. Phonics activities will emphasize identifying and pronouncing the ’em’ sound (as in ‘e’ + ‘m’ = ’em’). Students will develop the ability to recognize and differentiate between the concepts of near and far, enhancing their spatial awareness. This interactive lesson will improve the learner’s overall language development.
