The Five Senses – eyes, see, ears, hear
In this lesson, students will learn about the senses of sight and hearing. Vocabulary words include eyes, see, ears, and hear. The sentence patterns are “What do you use to see?” and “What do you use to hear?” with responses like, “I see with my eyes” and “I hear with my ears.” The verb hear will be practiced, along with sight words such as hear, listen, noise, and quiet. The grammar focus is on reading dates, while phonics practice will cover the suffix -ed with sounds /id/, /d/, and /t/.
