In this lesson, students will explore feelings and emotions such as being happy, sad, and excited. They will practice the key sentence patterns “What do you feel?” and “I feel happy/sad/excited.” to describe feelings. They will recognize the sight words ‘”down”, “are”, “be”, and “black”. The grammar lesson will introduce the affirmative and negative forms of the verb “to be” (“He is” and “He is not”) along with their proper usage. Phonics activities will be on identifying and pronouncing the ‘ed’ sound (as in “e” + “d” = “ed”). Students will also learn to distinguish right and left directions. This interactive lesson will improve the learner’s overall language development.
